I told you her's was better than mine :)


I am just loving all things braided during this hot weather....
I keep filling up this board with inspo... if only I were better at it.

For this one I started by making a part like a headband would be, from ear to ear.
I started french braiding at the side of my head with the front chunk of hair, working up and across my head.
Once I got to the other side, I took all the other hair in back and made a side braid, then pinned it up!

It wasn't as hard as I thought. But obviously needs some perfecting! ;)

her's looks a LOT better than mine....

I am starting to use this shampoo and conditioner. I love their surf spray, so we shall see.

It's humid here so I am not sure that anything can save what is on my head right now...
but I'll attempt to snap some pics of the mess and show you tomorrow.

Laura Bear loves... Michigan

For memorial weekend we took a road trip about 6 hours North to our hometown.
It was so refreshing and relaxing.
It took me 2 whole days to recover... it was that. much. fun.
Fishing, candy, hiking, garage sale-ing, beach walking, eating, s'more making, eating, oh and some eating.

I am just now getting back into the swing on things, today.
