Back in March we stole away to Ojai for a mini vacation.
The town has many quant shops.
is just a sweet little shop that lives in an old gas station.
I found some real treasures there.
The pharmacy right downtown has just enough fun things to look at.
We ended up buying Ila a recorder, or as we call it, her "flute".
We had a delicious lunch

I found a Beatrix Potter Children's cookbook that is just a true treasure.

and enjoyed a strong cup of coffee

- really really special place. Can't wait to come back.
We staid at
and it was very comfortable.
Not trendy at all and very quiet.
Sadly the rain and ominous clouds kept us out of the pool.
It started raining so hard at one point when we were walking around
that we ran into the library and made feather headbands
at their awesome kids craft table.
We're definitely going back to the library next time, rain or shine!
Ojai is just wonderful.
