The Holiday plans are starting to be set and I need thanksgiving and holiday party attire options. 
The Mira Heel was my Holiday shoe purchase, therefore I am planning thanksgiving and christmas around the idea that I will be wearing these. I also think a chic pair of flats to throw in my bag would be nice to have too ... I'd like to wear these socks with any of those shoes so bad. 

1 Sweater OR the mens is good too- I want this roomy enough to eat + drink + be merry but I also do not want it to look too sloppy. Fit is key. I plan to order up in size which ever style I go with (THIS H&M beaded option is a fancy touch!) 
2 striped shirt or this one that has a titch of stretch
3 gold lame skirt

Holiday Heels

These shoes are so pretttyyyy - the Mira Heel from Madewell. I originally purchased them to wear to my sisters wedding. I ended up wearing a different shoe (the closed toe one seen here <3) but I decided to keep these for the holidays. They look very blue in this picture, mostly because of what I did post... however they are more forest green / true to the color on Madewell's website. 

They're really a nice take on what I usually would buy in black. Plus they are very comfy to boot. I'm thinking about snapping up the Taupe, or "castle rock" while Madewell is running their sale.

I'm wearing them with my C O A S T linen black trousers, and I love how the cropped cut shows off the shoe. Shop the pants here.  Shop the shoes here.

Fit notes: I suggest ordering down a size.  As leather shoes tend to do, these stretched after one wear. I am typically a 7.5 but a 7 would have been better (see that space behind my heel?). I'll wear tights or socks with this pair going forward and we should be all good.
