New In for Laura Bear

Well I snapped up this new black felted wool hat and it is making me ready for fall.
I have had the cream panama hat for a while now. I've been wearing it allll summer and last year pretty much every day in LA.
But now it is time for a wool felt hat... even though it is about 95 degrees out... September is only a few days away!

It's the prefect hat! 100% wool and under 20 bucks!! 

OK so it isn't a PERFECT hat... I mean it still does give you a mean case of hat hair... as evident above.... 

I wore it on Friday night when hubster took me out for our anniversary dinner. 

We went to Girl and the Goat... if you are ever in Chicago.. you need to eat here. 

WOW yum... one of the many things we ate were squash blossom and crab rangoon's... 

if that doesn't sell you on this place, I'm not sure what else to tell you... 

So are you ready for fall? Am I crazy to be wearing a wool hat already?!

Found some treasures this weekend!
Finally went into the Nautical Shop on Balboa Peninsula and found this supersweet Port lamp...
there were so many other good things there! Just look at all that fun stuff behind me and my frown!

Also, I snapped up this hat at Kate Spade! I went in to "look" at the "hello sunshine" hat, all the while knowing full well that I already have a bit floppy sun hat
...
but when I saw this red version of the sunnies hat (I've only seen the black!)
I just had to have it on my head!

I'm going to a bachelorette party /  vacation get-away this weekend... so the hat was a must ;)
Can't tell you where we are going because it's a surprise for the Bride but I'll letcha know Friday night!
