A new take on the Canadian Tuxedo? I'm not sure about that BUT I do want to wear variations of this everyday.... throw some jeans under and wear the top as a tunic perhaps.

Went shoe shopping...


and snapped up these cutie little espadrilles.
ah California and your espadrill allowing january's. how strange.
I was feeling very resort/spring break-ish. And I'm proud of myself for going with something so practical....
as, I have been known to buy Impractical Gorgeous shoes...











Also, I came to realize that red carpet can work in the right instance!
who knew!? I'm thinking Kelly Wearstler awesome boldness...
I was inspired and I think I need to be less neutral in color on the home decor front...


anyway back to shoes....

I tried on lovely Tods driving shoes,

but was surprised by what the sales men said...
"these aren't for city walking. They are more for mall walking and driving"
...um ok....
who needs "mall walking" shoes?
I guess they aren't kidding when they say these are Driving Shoes
and you can't have the nubs redone/ resoled....

So I went with something a bit pretty and practical
and I had dancing feet all day while wearing them.
