We baked and ate a LOT this weekend. He made so many yummy meals for me...
...oof I am full just thinking about it...
I made these Blueberry Citrus Muffins... I highly recommend making them. They are easy peasy and yuuummy.
But alsa, all that eating makes me feel like I should eat something healthy while I am sitting at my computer during the week. Hence the salad...
This was my Great Grandmas recipe passed down to me from my Mom.
Spinach and Mandarine Orange Salad with Toasted Sesame Seeds
This recipe is really just for a dressing that you throw on some spinach and oranges. So yummy and good for you!
The Dressing:
2/3 C sugar
1/3 C apple cider vinegar
whisk well &/or heat to dissolve
Add:
2 T finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
4-5 drops hot sauce
1/2 tsp. Worchester
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp paprika
Whisk in:
1 C Oil
Add: 2-3 T lightly toasted sesame seeds (toast seeds in skillet or oven)
That is it! Put it all together and put it on Spinach... add some oranges it you have em... So yumyum!
