What a nice way to start off this long weekend!

This might be our last weekend just the 2 of us (I'm due on Wednesday!), 
so we talked about spending one entire day in bed, only getting up to make brunch and order take out! We'll see if we can pull it off... 
we also plan to hit the beach, eat a lot of watermelon and fried chicken and maybe even squeeze in a matinee movie.

Baby Bear's Nursery is done!

Well the nursery is pretty much done!
Yeay!

The only thing left that I would like to do is add a pom-pom sway (like this!) between the hanging mobiles above her crib :)
I think it would look pretty and it needs something there. But at just over 39 weeks, it is pretty low on the ole priority list...  so we'll see.

Thanks for peeking! Now we just need the final ingredient... our bebe girl!

New In for Laura Bear

Well I snapped up this new black felted wool hat and it is making me ready for fall.
I have had the cream panama hat for a while now. I've been wearing it allll summer and last year pretty much every day in LA.
But now it is time for a wool felt hat... even though it is about 95 degrees out... September is only a few days away!

It's the prefect hat! 100% wool and under 20 bucks!! 

OK so it isn't a PERFECT hat... I mean it still does give you a mean case of hat hair... as evident above.... 

I wore it on Friday night when hubster took me out for our anniversary dinner. 

We went to Girl and the Goat... if you are ever in Chicago.. you need to eat here. 

WOW yum... one of the many things we ate were squash blossom and crab rangoon's... 

if that doesn't sell you on this place, I'm not sure what else to tell you... 

So are you ready for fall? Am I crazy to be wearing a wool hat already?!
